DELIVERY DRIVER/SANITATION SUPPORT
Impact Kitchen is growing and we are looking for a team player to fill the position of full-time Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of goods from Impact Kitchen’s central Commissary Kitchen to Impact Kitchen restaurants located in Toronto. Part of the job requirements include reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading the delivery vehicle and providing exceptional customer service to our restaurant teammates. In addition to daily deliveries, this position will also support the Commissary Kitchen with sanitation tasks.
Reports to: Commissary Production Manager
Location: 573 King Street East, Toronto, Ontario
COMPENSATION
Delivery Drivers earn $19.50/hour and receive a substantial discount on Impact Kitchen products.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Receiving and storage of deliveries as related to the commissary kitchen
- Loading, unloading, delivery of commissary & catering food items as per schedule
- Effective storage, management, and safe rotation (FIFO) of all products
- Cleaning, sanitation and maintenance of kitchen equipment, food production spaces, delivery vehicle and delivery areas
- Preparation, production and execution of menu items and food quality standards according to detailed recipes and instructions
- Strict adherence to company, municipal and provincial guidelines as they are related to food safety and safe workplace environments
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 1 year of kitchen experience with a general understanding of cooking fundamentals and practices
- G driver license (min 3 years) with clean driving record
- Knowledge of municipal traffic laws, regulations and safe driving practices
- Ability to execute and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively, respectfully and work well with others in a team based setting
- Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
- Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends as business demands
- Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
- Work Permit required
- Preferred but not required: Food Handlers Certification
